Wear the lesson.

Free, high-resolution t-shirt designs that turn history's hardest lessons into messages you can wear down the street. Download. Print at home. Start a conversation.

History already wrote the hard parts.

I just make sure we still read them.

Every shirt is a question someone hasn't finished asking.

What is GQuixote?

GQuixote is a free t-shirt design project by a London-based artist and developer.

Every design starts with research — a moment in history, a pattern of human failure, a lesson we were supposed to learn and didn't. That research becomes a visual message: sharp on the front, clarified on the back. You download the high-resolution file for free, print it at home or at a local print shop, and wear it.

On the back of every shirt is a QR code. Scan it and you land here — on the page for that specific design, with the full research behind it.

No account. No paywall. No watermark to remove later for a fee. Free means free.

Neurodivergent Pride Coming soon

Proud. Visible. Unapologetic.

A future collection of paid shirts for people who are proud to be neurodivergent and not afraid to show it — designs that say Neurodivergent, Autistic, ADHD, and more, clearly and without apology.

How it works

01

Browse

Pick a design. Read the research if it's a History piece, or just grab it if it's Fun.

02

Download

Click download. High-resolution file ready for printing. No login. No email required.

03

Print it

Three options: print at home with the Print Guide, take the file to your preferred printer, or order directly through this site via a print-on-demand partner.

04

Wear it

Put it on. The QR code, gquixote.xyz link, or no recognition at all — you choose how much of the conversation to carry. You become the message.

05

Donate

Optional. If a design made you think or ended up on a shirt you wear, help fund the next one. Downloads stay free either way.

Why there's a QR code on the back

Because a shirt without context is just a slogan.

You see someone wearing a provocative word or phrase. You react — maybe offended, maybe curious, maybe both. You scan the code on their back. Now you're reading the history behind it. The research. The reason it exists.

The front is the door. The back is the room you walk into.

That's the whole idea.

About GQuixote

I'm a software developer and artist based in London. I'm autistic. I wear a pin that says so, and people look. That visibility is uncomfortable and useful at the same time — it's one reason I believe clothing can carry a message without needing a microphone.

The name GQuixote comes from Don Quixote — the idealist who tilts at windmills because someone has to try, even when it looks pointless. This project tilts at the idea that history's lessons are settled and we've moved on. We haven't. So I put them on shirts.
